What a zap is

[Company Name] operates zappp. You choose a file, zappp creates a share link, the recipient downloads it, and the file is removed when the zap expires or is disabled.

zappp is not permanent storage or a backup. Keep your original until the recipient has it. Once a file fades, neither you nor we can bring it back.

Your file, your call

No account is required. You are still responsible for every file you zap. You must have the right to upload and share it, and your use must follow the laws that apply to you.

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. If you use zappp for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it.

Links carry access

Free zaps accept files up to 2 GB and stay live for 24 hours. zappp Plus may provide larger limits and longer fuses. The timer shown when you create the zap controls.

Anyone with a live zap link can download the file. Treat the link like the file itself and send it only to the people you intend to receive it.

Ownership stays yours

You keep every right you have in your content. You give [Company Name] a limited license to receive, store, process, and transmit each file only as needed to run zappp, and only until the zap expires or is removed.

We do not use file contents to build advertising profiles. We may run automated security or abuse checks, including malware detection, to protect recipients, the service, and the public.

What never gets zapped

Do not use zappp to break the law, harm people, distribute abusive material, or attack the service. Our Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms and covers malware, phishing, fraud, illegal content, infringement, harassment, and attempts to bypass our limits or security.

Plus and payment

Stripe processes paid purchases. The price, features, and transaction terms appear at checkout. [Company Name] does not receive or store your complete card number. Except where law requires otherwise, completed delivery purchases are non-refundable.

When we cut the current

We may investigate suspected misuse; disable links; remove files; block uploads; restrict or suspend access; or change service limits when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law, protect people, or protect zappp and its providers. We may preserve information and cooperate with authorities when legally required.

What powers zappp

zappp uses Cloudflare Pages, Workers, and R2, and uses Stripe for payments. Those providers process data to deliver their parts of the service. We choose them carefully, but we cannot control or guarantee third-party availability or conduct.

Reality check

zappp is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Zaps can fail, networks can disappear, and links can fade before they are opened. Keep your original file.

Liability limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Company Name], its operators, suppliers, and infrastructure providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, profit, or business arising from zappp. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim, or zero if you paid nothing.

Walking away

You can stop using zappp whenever you like; there is no account to close. We may suspend access or remove zaps to enforce these terms, protect the service, or comply with law. Provisions that logically continue after use ends, including ownership, responsibility, disclaimers, and liability limits, remain in effect.

Changes and law

We may revise these terms as zappp changes. The date above will move when they do, and material changes will be called out on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Law], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
